These art pieces are poured glass paperweights. They are small desktop collages to bring positive energy to your workspace. They make great upliftings gift for your friends.

I create my art with ordinary objects; tea bags, leaves, bits of metal, cancelled stamps, colorful papers, threads, small beads and fabrics. I love finding treasures and reusing them! I arrange, stitch and glue these objects in place creating the collage. Each design features an uplifting, peaceful or hopeful message under beautiful clear glass. Every paperweight is hand assembled making it unique. They have acid-free foam-backing on bottom to protect the surfaces on which they rest.

Art has been part of my professional life for the past 30 years. After obtaining my degree in Commercial Art I went to work for graphic design firms, mail order companies, printers, floral suppliers, clothing manufacturers, screen printers and marketing firms. The older I got the more I longed to do the work of my heart. I am still enjoying the exploration of that work.

Growing up in Silver Bay, Minnesota, close to the shores of Lake Superior, I was naturally attracted to leaves and art created in nature. My hope is that my art will empower you to be the best you can be, bring beauty and encouragement to your world or as a gift, become your words to encourage a friend.
